8 Key Ways To Product Creation
If you have ever seen a new product and though, “I can do stuff like that,” then you are one of many people who want to try their hand at product creation. The best way to approach this is by targeted product creation, making a product that will fill a certain need. Here are 8 key ways to targeted product creation.
Key 1: Finding the product.
Your best source here is people with common interests, lifestyles, careers, etc. For instance, if you want to make a product for the elderly, hang out with them and find out what they need the most.
Key 2: Deciding on the product.
Sometimes the best way to start is decide what would be easiest for your targeted product creation. Then you can make more complex products as you get a reputation.
Key 3: Research.
Make sure the idea has not been done before. Search the internet and other databases to make sure you are not duplicating someone else’s invention.
Key 4: Make sure it’s relevant.
Perhaps the elderly folks you talked to want a certain product, but they may be the only ones. Get a wide cross section of your target for your product creation.
Key 5: Design the product.
This may require help from others. If you have a manufacturer chosen for your product, consult with the company carefully.

You will need to create a prototype and have potential users test it. You will likely go through several stages of improvement before landing on a good idea.
Key 7: Create some hype.
If your targeted product creation is in its final stages, get a series of press releases out to let the world know. Make a website and get on the blogs and forums.
Key 8: Create it and push it!
Make sure you monitor the production and quality assurance processes, and then promote your targeted product creation as much as possible.
